This calculator estimates the temperature rise of a toroidal ferrite or powdered iron core.

The calculator does not do a lot of error checking, if you enter nonsense, it will produce nonsense. NaN means not a number, check the input values.
If you don't have reason to do otherwise, use exponent 0.833, an empirically derived value that is widely used. For more conservative results, use exponent 1.
Use W/m^2/K=10 unless there is reason to change it.
