Solve frequency domain reflectometer max distance and resolution

This calculator solves frequency domain reflectometer max distance and resolution.

For transmission lines, enter the velocity factor VF.

For waveguide, enter the waveguide cutoff frequency Fc, VF will be ignored.

In the time domain, the range is defined as the length of time that a measurement can be made without encountering a repetition of the response.

Time domain range resolution is defined as the ability to locate a single response in time. If only one response is present, range resolution is a measure of how closely you can pinpoint the peak of that response.

The calculator does not do a lot of error checking, if you enter nonsense, it will probably produce nonsense.
